We the People
In 1942, President Roosevelt laid out the Four Freedoms as a moral compass for the American people. Speaking to the heart of American values, these Freedoms continue to guide us even, as in the presidential election of 2016, reality becomes muddied with apparent contradiction and conflict. This animation short illustrates the emotional landscape of recent political events: a kaleidoscope of modern interpretations of the Four Freedoms - particularly Freedom of Speech - where in the space between our ideals and reality, the potential of hope persists.
